Fix your service for higher profits

Happy New Year 2009!  This is the time of year when everyone is busy setting goals for personal life as well as business.  As I was reading “Selling The Invisible” by Harry Beckwith today, I came across the statement that the first step in marketing is to fix your service.  Wow! How true.  No matter what business or industry you are in, what you sell or how you sell it, you provide service…even if you sell products.  So, as you’re dreaming of what you want to accomplish in 2009 and setting up the tasks through which to acheive them, and creating your marketing plan, keep that in mind.  Look at what you can do to fix your service first.  Better service means more customer satisfaction, which leads to more positive word-of-mouth, which leads to more leads, sales and profit for you.  That’s marketing at it’s finest!  So how will you improve your service in 2009?
